2010 Educational Excursion -- Dinner Cruise around Vancouver Harbor

Request new password

Join your colleagues for another NCSPOD annual tradition -- an excursion to sample the best of the local area.  This year we will be chartering a large yacht for a dinner cruise to see the city from a different vantage point and then take in a beautiful setset.

Buses will pick us up at the hotel and take us to the docking area where we will board a large heated yacht with spacious outdoor decks.  We will depart from False Creek and cruise along Sunset, 2nd and 3rd Beach.  As we approach Lions Gate Bridge and Capilano River we will view 3 mountains:  Grouse, Cypress and Seymore.  We will also be able to view the luxurious homes at Point Atkinson and see the city skyline before and after sunset.  Buses will take us back to the hotel or you may elect to extend your own excursion afterward with individual plans on or near Granville Island.

Dinner will include your choice of filet of salmon, marinated chicken or fresh pasta with Caesar Salad, Mixed Salad, Seasonal Vegetables, Roasted Baby Potatoes, Fresh Baguette, Dessert, Coffee and Tea.

NCSPOD will be contributing to the cost of the excursion.  Your share of the cost of the dinner cruise is just $55.   To take advantage of the excursion, please register for the trip and include the cost on your conference registration form.

Note:  The yacht is wheelchair accessible.
