The NCSPOD 2014 conference ‘The Dawn of Learning’ will be held in Chicago, October 26-28, 2014.

Greetings fellow NCSPODer’s!
We can hardly believe the 37th Annual NCSPOD Conference – Dawn of Learning is only weeks away. We do hope your fall semester is off to a successful start! This will be a perfect time to engage in your own professional development by joining your colleagues in Chicago. This year’s NCSPOD conference will be filled with lots of learning for ALL!
Please join us in Chicago for “The Dawn of Learning.”
In a thought provoking video clip titled, “Learning to Change – Changing to Learn” that critically assesses the current educational landscape, Stephen Heppell concludes that we are at a point where perhaps “it is the death of education and the dawn of learning.” We draw our conference theme, the Dawn of Learning, with a forward looking view to this emerging landscape in higher education.
Palmer House Hotel | Chicago, IL Dates: October 26 – 28, 2014
This year we will have 2 plenary speakers—Mark Milliron will open the conference on Monday morning and Marcia Jackson will close the conference on Tuesday afternoon. There is some introductory information here about these two educational leaders.
We are planning a fun and entertaining evening on Sunday, October 26th. We’ll be participating in a mystery dinner theater event. You can learn more about this here.
